In Relevant Kids we prioritize safety. One way that we do this is by implementing consistent restroom procedures.

• Make sure the room is EMPTY before allowing a child to enter.

• Only ADULT FEMALES should assist children in restroom.

• If the child needs assistance, please leave the DOOR OPEN and wear GLOVES.

• When the child is finished, make sure they have WIPED and FLUSHED.

• Assist if needed by wearing gloves.

• Have the child CLEAN HANDS by washing or with hand sanitizer.

• Throw wipes and GLOVES in the trash. Please do not flush them.

• If a child has an ACCIDENT, place soiled clothes in a Ziploc bag and check the child’s bag for clean clothes. If the child does not have clean clothes, have the service leader notify parents.

• Allow CHILD to change clothes in restroom.

• MAKE A NOTE that child had an accident and INFORM PARENTS at checkout
